Warranty, Returns & Exchange Policy

 


Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

At Hoppers Cricket Store, your rights are protected by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Refund

if a product you purchase:

  • is faulty or defective,

  • is not as described, or

  • is not fit for its intended purpose.

These rights apply regardless of any warranty period and cannot be excluded by our store policy.


Change of Mind Returns & Exchanges (Store Policy)

While the ACL does not require refunds or exchanges for change of mind, we are happy to offer:

  • 30-day return or exchange for unused products in original packaging and condition.

  • Proof of purchase required (receipt, invoice, or order confirmation).

  • Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

  • Exchanges will be processed once the original item is received and inspected.


Warranty Coverage (Manufacturer & Store Support)

Kashmir Willow Bats 6 months Same exclusions as above
Kit Bags & Protective Gear 3 months Split seams, broken zips/wheels only
Helmets 6 months Micro-adjustment feature only; ball impact damage excluded
Shoes 6 months Split seams, broken spikes/sole only

Warranty Excludes Damage Caused By:

  • Misuse, abuse, or poor maintenance

  • Use of non-leather or composite balls

  • Excessive use on bowling machines

  • Water, heat, or over-oiling damage

  • Handle breaks, toe breaks, or natural wear and tear


Warranty Claim Process

  1. Contact our team to lodge your claim.

  2. Return the product securely packaged, with proof of purchase.

  3. Assessment by manufacturer will determine if the item will be:

    • Repaired

    • Replaced

    • Credited via store credit

Note: Return postage for warranty claims is the customer’s responsibility.


Refund Method

  • Refunds are provided via store credit unless required otherwise by the ACL (e.g., major faults).

  • For online payment cancellations:

    • Credit/Debit Cards – payment provider fee may apply

    • Zip & AfterPay – 6% cancellation fee applies

    • PayPal – full refund, no fee
